This paper’s main aim was to explain the process of characterising structural over-strength factor (R), seismic behaviour (Q), and effective elastic stiffness, Keff, cantilever-reinforced concrete (RC) urban bridge columns with solid circular cross-sections for use in design under Serviceability Limit State (SLS). Similarly, mathematical models have been proposed determine average values stiffness response modification factors suggested at SLS. is because multiple codes stipulate that cantilever RC must meet SLS requirements. Therefore, comply, lateral displacement ductility demand not exceed unity after a moderate or small earthquake. While materials remains range, this performance criterion can be conservative.
